 Of course, that policy wasn't subject to review or consensus or a
vote or anything like that.  I think Bruce wrote that up on his own,
in an effort to counter-act wiki spam.  He had every right to do so,
given that it was his web server and his Internet service at the time.
(Not that I disagree with said policy, it just should be known how it

 Heh.  You might say that.  That was to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
(i.e., the posting address for the discussion list).  The website
makes it clear how to contact us.  Given all that, it's fairly clear
(to me, anyway) that this was basically spam.  I think the sender (a)
doesn't know GNHLUG from any of the other entries in the address list
they're spamming to and (b) has never even been to our website.

 I forwarded it mostly for humor value, plus a little bit of full disclosure.
