I admit I did not read the article in depth, but I don't think there was 
anything surprising in the article, especially on commercialism. Several 
years ago when he made a presentation to the former BCS Linux group (now 
the BLU), he did proclaim that commercial applications are a good thing but 
the OS and Utilities should be free. Linus is neither a Stallman nor a 
Gates.
