Funny - just last night I tried to install Corel Deluxe from CD onto
a P133 I have sitting around. I've had NO trouble installing many RH
releases, SuSE 6.3 and FreeBSD 3.4 on this machine. Corel froze after
putting up the "Starting Linux" message.
What *really* annoyed me is that the printed doc says NOTHING about what to
do if things don't "just work". After poking around on the Corel web site I
discovered I could drop into "expert mode" by holding down the shift key. I
eventually managed to get it installed, but it wasn't fun, and I still don't
know what that hang is all about.
I kinda felt like I was back in Windozeland: "Something is broken and, no, you
can't possibly figure out how to fix it."
