At http://linuxapps.com , if you do a search on Slashdot, there are
several apps/scripts to fetch the latest /. stories. There are some that
download them to a PalmPilot "for reading on the go". I used to have one
for Gnome that sat on the menu bar that scrolled like a regular news
ticker.
