a small little script that I've written using Perl on Windows to telnet
into my dedicated Linux box and do something. It's proved to be a nice
little solution so that I merely need to double-click on an icon when
booted into Windows to get something to run on my Linux-only machine.
What I'd like to do is have the window running my script minimize to
the Windows system tray while it runs. Is anyone aware of any
GUI toolkits that are Windows-aware enough to be able to designate
minimizing to the system tray? The best I've been able to come up with
so far are shareware utilities that force a window to minimize to the
system tray instead of to the taskbar.
