I liked the discussion of ramdrives. This is just what I
am going to be doing. However, I always like to RTFM.
Trouble is, I can't find a decent FM to R. The kernel
source ramdisk.txt is somewhat helpful. The man
bootparam page says it is a bad idea to use ramdisks.
Does the ramdisk ever shrink? It will grow, up the
max size, as it is used. If large files are unlinked, will it
hand back the kernel pages?
