Yeah, like that Turbo Linux Workstation CD I got that the LBS. :-) I
tried to create a boot disk image with the /dosutils/*.bat file and managed
to create several *unbootable* disks. (Okay, so I was using some ancient
Novell 3.1 disks which are likely to have bad clusters -- but it'd seem
like *one* of them would've worked!:-)

Have you read the how-to/install docs that come with Debian? It isn't
really that hard. As _Linux_Journal_ once said, if you could teach a
chicken to peck at the enter key, the chicken could install Debian.
There's also Debian package maintainers/developers on the LUG list here,
so it shouldn't be that hard to find help or arrange an install session...
