You're right - his total disregard for business ethics, and his
absolute dominance in any activity he's ever involved himself in,
to the detriment of his so-called "partners", as testified to in
Federal Court and as deemed guilty of having done so, is truly unique.

If others had been _allowed_ to do so, without fear of financial
or other retributions, they could have done better.

The technical fact of the matter is, the design of Windows from a
security standpoint totally and utterly sucks. IBM warned The Chief
Architect of Microsoft over 10 years ago, and various other partners
over the years have continued to warn him, the problems have been
analyzed to death in virtually every technical forum on the planet,
and it still has not been fixed!

The fact that the Chief Architect of Microsoft was the richest man
in the world for a long time as a result of marketing a suboptimal,
buggy product, is testimony to his arrogance, not his technical ability.
