An excerpt from their security bulletin:

It is interesting to note that the procedures listed above did *NOT* provide
protection against this virus.
Not only do Microsoft's products suck, they lie about them when people ask
them for help.
"No, don't worry, the building isn't really on fire. Now be a good user and
go back to bed."
