Can anyone please supply a good pointer to sources for such products? I tried
both the McAfee and AVP pointers from the base post, found little or nothing
about Linux and certainly nothing that clearly indicated a product that can be
safely believed to run on Linux. Or is the solution to take a DOS or Windoze
version and run it under Wine or VMware? (BTW, that reminds me of another
question, about getting data in and out of a VMware app running on Linux, from
native Linux files and.or devices - anyone have insight into such a thing?)

FWIW, my requirement is precisely for the situation Ben describes, I want to
have my Linux box set up as a filtering firewall that filters content as well as
connections, so I have a first line of defense against nasty content trying to
reach
the lame Microsoft bits running on some of the systems inside the firewall. I can

hack the plumbing if necessary but would prefer to find an existing solution that
doesn't require a lot of hacking to solve my requirements.

THANKS!
