O.K., so here is the scoop. We will be in one of the large covered barns up by the main entrance to the fairgrounds. The issue around the Hoss Trader's booth and selling things is that they gave me the space at a discount because we WOULD NOT be selling things...that this was strictly an informational type of thing. Ergo I do not want to compete with their "paying customers" unless I specifically get clearance ahead of time. Given that they say "O.K." to selling the CDs, I would be willing to sell the "burned" CDROMS for $2-3 apiece, but recommend we keep some of those and some of the freely given ones to give out as "freebies". Finally, as far as bookeeping on those....those of you who have been in the group the longest know how I feel about "bookkeeping". My best bookkeeping would be to stuff each $3. in my pocket, then count it out at the end of the day and hope that the dollar amount is evenly divisable by three. People have responded back and given me the times they would be available. It looks as if we have coverage, but I will not be getting to the Fairgrounds until 1100 or so (due to a conflict). Since this is still way before the doors open (even unofficially), I can meet Andrew Gaunt at the gate at 1100 and give him the other "exhibitors" ticket I have so he can help me finish setting up. We are a little "light" on coverage on Friday, but this is a low volume event. If I somehow missed your email back to me, don't worry about it, just come on down. Bob Sparks is bringing his displays to my house, and I look forward to seeing people there at the event. As I said before, this is not a high-priority event, but a lot of people like going looking for that $50 firewall box (can you say "DSL?")
