hrm. i have a debian 2.1 server and seem to be having some problems with tcplogd. when a user connects to the server..tcplogd logs the connection...but then after the user logs out tcplogd doesn't not die. instead it just stays alive and says that the connection "ESTABLISHED" I have to manually kill tcplogd to clear those connections. before i killed it i still had connections open from 10 days ago. something is telling me it may be my IP alias. (i have another IP pointed at me for testing) any ideas? this problem is by no means critical for the time being.....just a real annoyance. ~kurth [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.usaexpress.net/kurth ICQ UIN - 6624050 Callsign - N1TYW PGP Key Available - ask Fight Weak Encryption!
