I didn't see the author calling them "deviants" anywhere. Indeed, the
author was not only favorable towards the behavior in question, but in fact a
participant. Now, the author's opinions may be somewhat, shall we say,
non-conventional, but I don't think calling them "sensational trash" is
warranted.
