[ Let me guess: you've just dealt with the infamous m1x
Customer Disservice Department. Sheesh! m1x does have
a few surpassingly *excellent* folks on staff but I'm
sorry to say that some of the others don't even know
their own NAMES "in no uncertain terms", never mind the
answers to any questions of actual substance. On the
other hand, they do make you wait on Hold for an hour... ]
When m1x talks about which browser they support it's really only
relevant when they're talking about their own WWW pages - they
have no control (or even knowledge) of any interactions between
the WWW browser on your machine and other servers out on the
Internet. So, it's unlikely that you need to worry about it -
how often will you visit any WWW pages managed by m1x servers?
I've had an m1x connection since October97 and NEVER used
anything but NetScape. I only go THROUGH m1x and never TO them;
as content-providers they hold no interest for me. (On the
very rare occasions when I have had to view an m1x WWW page I
have used NetScape and it has always worked fine.) I recommend
that you just switch to NetScape and don't look back.
