So far the vote is 10 to 0 for Wed the 28th of June. So I am using
Executive priviledge and calling it a wrap.
The official 2001 Linux Business Show formation meeting will be held on
June 28th. Dinner will be 6pm and the meeting will start after we finish
dinner.
Before we resort to Martha's Exchange in Nashua for the location, I am
trying to line up something a little different that is still fairly central
to us all. I will announce the location, hopefully by Monday the 19th.
I will need a firm dinner reservation by Wed June 21 so that I don't
surprise any loacation like we did at the Stark Mill Brewery for the buffet
last month.
Our Show Chairman for the 2001 event is Lori Hitchcock, who did an
outstanding job on the 2000 Show.
We will be looking for a Treasurer to take over the responsibility of
working with both Lori and myself, vendors, sponsors, and all the other
aspects involved in managing the funds for the GHNULG as we take the event
to the next level. A somewhat working knowledge of bookkeeping would be
helpful. A flexible schedule and a williness to travel will be necessary.
If you are interested, please come on the 28th or let Lori or me know.
