  You'll *only* need it if your pulling data via fetchmail.  Featchmail
*may* not require it, but I've never attempted to have fetchmail *NOT* use
it..

    Well, either what Brian said, or simply tell pppd (you said yer dialing
up, right?) to assign the hostname to the one given by the ppp server.  I
*BELIEVE* that the option is like 'usehostname', but you'll want to look it
up to make sure..
