Happy first day of summer to you all.
Monadlug Summer Schedule:
Since the first Thursday of the month is the 6th, two days after the
holiday, we will have a meeting, but no major speaker. More like house
cleaning and general Linux discussion. Also it is time to talk about the
next year of the Monadlug chapter. Vote on a chairman, that kind of thing.
August meeting, we will have two presenters (planned for anyway). We will
be continuing our Fun in the summer series with a nifty little Linux gadget
being demo'd and then Bill Sconce will talk about his latest project.
September we will get back to the practicality of using Linux in the office
environment with a presentation by Ed Lawson, an attorney from Laconia who
is a GNHLUG member and uses Linux in his daily office routine.
October, we are scheduled for the second annual Linux New Users Night at
Keene State College.
GNHLUG meeting schedule: every chapter is doing their own planning for July.
June 28th is the date for the formation meeting of the Linux Business Show
2001 (location still to be determined).
In August, so far we have a Samba presentation scheduled for the SLUGs, and
we should have an announcement soon on the Merrilug chapter. No news yet
from the Centralugs.
The third quarter GNHLUG meeting (Aug 22) will feature APPLIXWARE and the
presentation will be given by a representative from Applix (now
VistaSource).
Hope you all have a great summer
Jerry
