A textbook of mine says 1 BTU = 1055 Joule so:

        1 BTU / hour = 1055/3600 Watts   (Watt = Joule/sec)

E.g. if a 15" monitor drew 100 Watts that be about 29 BTU/hour.

BTW, a good place to get reasonable power consumption estimates for
computers and periph's is:
