Someone finally posted the "Know your Enemy" series to /. today.
I figured that I would pass it on to anyone who is interested.
It's a series of papers about the activites of script kiddies and
crackers complete with log files, keystroke captures, etc. It
walks you through attacks and describes what exactly is done and
why. I've been reading it for a while, and it has great info fo
anyone interested in network security. One of the team members
(Ed Skoudis) is from Global Integrity and is a regular instructor
at the SANS security conference on "Current hacker tools and
