Topic: Intro to Perl DBI
Speaker: Robert Anderson

What is Perl DBI?

Perl is an interpreted scripting language extreemly good at string
manipulation. DBI is a database independent interface module to perl
that allows efficient access to many backend databases using a
common interface. We will be going over the concepts of using DBI and
a few examples in Postgres and Oracle under Linux.
