LinuxMall recently published an article about the project in Mexico which
seeks to put GNU/Linux-based server and desktop computers into every
elementary and middle school in Mexico (over 140,000 computer centers).

The article can be read at <http://www.LinuxMall.com/?4,1,311> and is
full of links to related web sites. Particularly, the main Mexican site for
the project at <http://redesc.linux.org.mx/en/index.html> is interesting.

<http://www.seul.org/edu/> is another good place for this type of info,
and there is a K12LINUX mailing list hosted out of
<http://www.riverdale.k12.or.us/linux/listserv.html> that would be worth
looking into.
