The LotusXSL Team needs a buildmeister with good Linux/Unix familiarity. Most of the team's work is delivered as open source software via the Apache Software Foundation. To see it, look for "Xalan" at xml.apache.org. Right now, we need better automated processes and more Linux expertise, particularly at the system administration level. We are closely tied to the branch of IBM Research that does cool stuff on small hardware, such as the "Linux wristwatch" described at http://www.lwn.net/2000/0810/ (Linux Weekly News). We hope to find a hardware-oriented person for this position, but our notions are flexible enough to accommodate Web-centric, Java-centric, etc. This position is based at Lotus headquarters in Cambridge, MA. I can attest from personal experience that the location is readily commutable from Southern NH or ME. Familiarity with build tools (make, source code control) and Windows NT is important. Familiarity with XML, Notes/Domino, Web servers, C/C++, Java, and practices in the Open Source community are plusses. Lotus/IBM has forward-thinking hiring and benefits policies, and personal growth is real here. Resumes can be emailed to [EMAIL PROTECTED] or sent by hardcopy to me at One Charles Park, Cambridge, MA 02142. .................David Marston ********************************************************** To unsubscribe from this list, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the following text in the *body* (*not* the subject line) of the letter: unsubscribe gnhlug **********************************************************
