Hi all,

I took the plunge yesterday at work and decided to install Debian on my system.
However, for some reason, my environment is now somewhat messed up, which I
don't quite understand, since my homedir with all my 'dot' files is
automounted from a remote systems.

Everything works *except* FVWM2, which is my preferred window manager. For
some reason there's no longer a "pager" or workspace manager window showing up.
My .fvwm2rc file did not/could not change, since it's on a different system.
My environment comes up okay with the exception of the pager.

Does anyone know why this is or how to fix it? I thought the pager was either
on off and configured within the .fvwm2rc file. If that file didn't change,
what would cause it to be turned off?

I'm running fvwm2-2.2.4, Debian Potato upgraded to Woody.

This is a side effect of changing distributions I did not expect! :)

Thanks,

P.S. please cc my mclinux.com account, since I'm not sub'ed to the list there
