I mentioned that earlier. And yes, the generic options file does come
that way. All of the PPP stuff comes very loosely configured to be a PPP
server. On the server side, that line is a "must-have" for security, but
it pretty much always messes things up on the client side. Very rarely
will a PPP server allow a client to demand authentication. However, I
have seen it in a few instances. I can come in handy in a very
particular set of circumstances, but it is far from the norm.
