Yes. It went flawlessly until I tried to boot Win98/2 (I
have a dual-boot machine at home with Win98/2 on the C drive and a second hard
drive running RH6.2; also have Partition/Boot Magic).
Despite the presence of Boot Magic, the machine would ONLY
boot RH6.2; after a number of other attempted solutions, I ended up having to
reformat the C drive and reinstall Win98/2 plus all the apps plus restore
backed-up files. Now the machine will ONLY boot up Win98/2 and to run
RH6.2 I have to boot from the RH boot floppy.
Search of docs and man pages for this particular situation
have come up negative. Ditto emails to Partition Magic, RH and M$, and
searches of their web site.
Feels peculiar being so unique.
Cheers,
Dave
