I suspect I'm about to start a flame war, or at least a lengthy off topic
discussion. My apologies. I should also warn that I think my opionated
nature is about to flare here.
I find this mail to be unnecessary and inflamatory. Did Lori make a
mistake? Perhaps. No more so than other folks that have been faked out
by this message.
However, I find the above response to be even less appropriate for this
list. I've always been under the impression that the idea of Linux (and
indeed, the entire open source community) was openness. Lori (I'm
sure) has learned from the responses she's gotten. However responses like
the above could well cause her to hesitate to post to the list at all -
this is not "A Good Thing" (TM).
