If anybody's interested, I'm looking to sell the following:

IBM ThinkPad i1400 2611-451

Intel Mobile Pentium at 300MHz (512K cache)
128Meg RAM (base 64 + 64)
4.3Gig Harddrive
13.3 XGA LCD (capable of 1024x768)
24x CD-ROM
Floppy
56K Modem*
Built in sound
2 PCMCIA slots (I can throw in a 10M/bit PCMCIA LAN card as well)
AC Adapter

Ports: Video out, serial, usb, parallel, mouse and thinkpad doc connector,
plus sound in/out. The Floppy and CD-ROM are built into the laptop, so
both are always available. I have the box it came in plus the manuals,
restore CD and Win98 License. I've had it for just over a year and it's
performed very well for me, the only reason I'm selling it is that I now
have a Thinkpad T20.

I'd be happy to load Linux on this (RedHat 6.2, 7.0 etc...), or I can
probably do the IBM restore thing to put 98 on (though asking me to deal
with Win98 might raise the price :)

The only problem is the battery can't hold a charge. I've seen Thinkpad
1400 batteries on ebay for around $50.

I'm asking $800. If you have any questions let me know.

* I haven't tried the modem under Linux, if it's a Lucent then there's a
driver around for that, if it's MWave you're out of luck.
