hi kurth
i had ssh 1 installed and what i did was just do the rpm upgrade, i
had no problems using openssh1 or openssh2. actually ive not had any
of the prob's youve described.? i was under the impression that
opennssh2 had facility to still operate at ssh1 {if need be} ? .
#1 what i did was stop sshd ... #2 upgrade to the newest openssh2 rpm
{then make new keys} , then restart sshd ? if you are building from
source then im pretty sure its a ./configure switch to build in ssh1
compat. thought i have never tried it .. hope this helps Rob F.
