Of the major anti-virus companies:
- Symantec (Norton AV) has posted a "Free" "Beta" of a scanner for PalmOS,
- CAI continues their tradition of being three months behind the curve,
- McAfee continues their tradition of making any kind of product impossible
to find on their web page, so we don't know one way or the other.
I'm glad I run Linux on my desktop. :-) If it wasn't for this virus
threat, I'd be very happy with PalmOS. 3Com either had better build some
OS-level security into their handhelds, or the case for Linux-on-the-LDA
becomes much stronger.
