NTT Communications chooses Linux all-in-one server solution from TurboLinux,
Compaq, Oracle and OmronAlphatec 

TurboLinux, Inc., the high-performance Linux company, today announced
that NTT Communications Corporation has adopted TurboLinux Server 6.1
as its platform for information service systems.

TurboLinux has teamed with Compaq Computer Japan, OMRON ALPHATEC
Corporation and Oracle Corporation Japan to deliver a Linux all-in-one
server, which has been adopted by NTT Communications Corp. for its
Info-Communications Platform Products line. This new NTT Linux
product line includes TurboLinux Server 6.1 and Oracle8i bundled on
Compaq's ProLiant Server for mail server, web server, workstation,
application hosting and e-business use.

NTT Communications Corp., which provides telecommunications services in
more than 230 countries and regions around the world, will also be a
distributor of the Linux all-in-one server. OMRON ALPHATEC
Corporation, a leading Japanese systems integrator, provides support for the
Linux all-in-one server.

"We have adopted the TurboLinux Server, which features high reliability
and excellent security, as a recommended platform in order to provide
total solutions ranging from security to hosting and outsourcing based on
diverse, quality network services," said Satoshi Ogata, purchasing
manager for NTT Communications Corporation. "We also expect a great deal
from our strong technological and business partnerships with Oracle
and Compaq."

The Linux all-in-one Server comes with Compaq ProLiant ML370 or ML530,
Compaq's Intel Architecture Server, TurboLinux Server 6.1 and Oracle8i
Workgroup Server, a relational database provided by Oracle, pre-installed
and configured.
