Hi Robert
One of the topics of this thread was about Pre-SLUG meetings at UNH (unless
I misunderstood Suzanne original question). She was inquiring about why the
pre-SLUG meetings at UNH stopped. This was when GNHLUG was a type of
traveling road show and they did have some meeting(s) at UNH (I'm talking
1999 and earlier). I don't know much about that era so I referred her to
you.
As for this Monday, I know that it is a holiday weekend and since there has
been almost no advertising or commitment about a meeting I'm sure most
(including myself) have already made plans. However, I will call the school
Monday and get a room for Monday's SLUG meeting. Do you need a room with or
without computers? Please let me know by NLT early Monday so I can get one
reserved for the group.
Rick

Actually we only really skipped one. The September 11th meeting never
occured.
The schedule that we've been following has been odd months at UNH,
even at Pease. The November meeting will be back at UNH. I think one
problem with the even/odd method is that students are only at unh a
few of the odd months (9,11,3,?5?).
I need to send out mail for both October and November meetings.
Rick do we have the cluster room for Monday? What is the status of
that room, are there working systems in it? I'll send out mail today
about with a summary of what I'd like to talk about for the "The 2nd
Step: What do to After the Linux Install Completes".
