Well, I want them to run under whichever will allow the dopey thing to
work. I've already tried root, nobody, mail, mailman, mem(whatever that
is), and of course 'chuk' which I thought it would like. :) According
to the instructions (if I understand correctly), the mail gid is taken
from the value set in sendmail.cf as DefaultUser. In my case that's
'8:12'. It won't accept '8:12' and neither of them by themselves make any
difference. The cgi gid, again according to the documentation "If you're
using Apache, check the values for the 'Group' option in your httpd.conf
file." This value is 99 or group 'nobody'. No combination of these
values or any others have solved it so far. Maybe it's not the gid's at
all?
