A command line can be read via a text-to-speech converter, a
technology around for years.  GUIs by definition are _Graphical_ (i.e.
have visual elements). Yes, they can be described (purpose of ALT
tags), but you are basically converting the graphic to text, then the
text to speech.  Command lines eliminate 1 conversion.
