All,
I have been given the dubious task of creating a script that will issue
a set of commands on a proprietary system. The script has to run on
Linux. The only way to connect to the system where the commands need to
be run is via telnet. Now, the only way that I can think of to do this
is with expect. However, someone mentioned to me that there is a utility
that you can use that basically does a keystroke capture and turnes it
into an expect script. Has anyone else heard of this, and if so, can
someone tell me what the name of it is??
