Folks,

Greetings from Ottawa! Life has been going at such an insane pace
for the last few weeks that I didn't have a chance to say goodbye
before I left the state. There are more details at:

  http://linuxtoday.com/news_story.php3?ltsn=2000-10-07-009-21-NW-CY

but essentially my wife and I have now moved up to Ottawa where I'm
working for a Linux startup called e-smith. Things are going well
so far although it definitely is a bit different from New Hampshire!
Just yesterday the sale of our condo in Hooksett went through, and
we will close on our new place up here on November 17th... in the
meantime we're living in a hotel suite which definitely gets old.

I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed connecting with all of you
and how disappointing it was for me that I couldn't do much at all
with the group for the past 6 or 7 months. I am hopeful that this
move will reduce much of the travelling and I *will* be able to
participate with the LUG that is up here. I wish you all the best
and I will continue to lurk on the gnhlug list and throw in my two
cents from time to time.

Best wishes,
Dan

P.S. If anyone is interested in working for a Linux company, we have
a great number of technical (and non-technical) jobs available here.
See http://www.e-smith.com/careers/ although there are even more that
are not listed.

P.P.S. We also went to one car... and donated my car... so as of the
end of October, my "L1NUX" plate will no longer be registered... in
case someone else is looking for a vanity plate...
