I don't know about everyone else, but I seem to remember proposing about 1/2
dozen topics most of the time. I never knew why they weren't carried forth -
whether a speaker couldn't be found, people just ignore me, people forgot what
was proposed, or whatever. 

Perhaps these conversations should be carried out in mail instead of verbally so
we can discover how these disconnects occur and fix them!

gnhlug-org would be a good place to discuss topics and keep this issue from
falling through the cracks!

But I believe the original request was for diversity. Maybe some of the LUGs
need "speaker coordinators"?
