Hello all,
I have set up many print queues on both Open VMS and Unix, but I admit I
am stumpped with this one.
I am using RH Linux v6.2, and LPD on all systems. I have one system set
up as the print server, and I can print to a HP LJ6p sucessfully from
the local lp queue. I have set up a print queue on another system that
points to the print server queue. This queue uses the rm and rp
variables to address the network queue on the print server. When I send
a text file to this queue, I can see it land and it has a size of "n"
bytes. When I start this queue and see it land in the stopped queue on
the print server the size is 0 bytes and nothing prints.
Can someone give me a clue as to what is happening? Am I overlooking
some basic configuration?
I will be happy to post the /etc/printcap files from both systems, but I
think they are correct. Thanks in advance for any help.
