You need to edit /etc/lilo.conf to tell LILO about the new kernel, and then
run /sbin/lilo to update the boot map. I recommend you add a section and keep
the old kernel as a backup. The syntax is relatively straight-forward. See
"man lilo.conf" if you need help, or ask here.
If you see anything about "initrd" in your /etc/lilo.conf file, you need to
create an initial ramdisk for driver support. Give a yell if you see that.
