I recall a few months ago reading on /. about how employees were being
treated when their employers found that they were searching for another
job. I know now exactly how that feels.
I have been searching for the last six months for a position in the NH
(and now including southern Maine and some of MA) entailing System
Administration in Linux or at least a place that would support running it.
This week, my boss found that I am looking for a position - mind you that
my leads are slim - and decides that the risk of my leaving is too great
and now we have to convert all the servers that i managed to Windows 2000.
I would have posted this on the jobs list, however I haven't seen any
traffic generated on that list and thought that someone out there may know
of something available that may suit my needs. Any items pertaining to this
can be emailed privately to me off the list so that we can keep discussing
more important issues. :)
