Ditto on this. It's probably the easiest way to handle things, although
all of the BIOS settings will be cleared in the process.
If you can't find (or never had) a manual for the board, look for a
jumper (or set of solder pads), usually near the battery, marked something
promising like Clear RTC, or BIOSPW, or CMOS. I think I've only EVER seen
one or two boards that didn't have a way to do this.
