  As my cow orker says, that is us.  We were a Vitts reseller, and had a
number of customers depending on Vitts for Internet access.  Our flagship
product was a package deal of office cabling, DSL feed, and Linux server.  
One leg of our tripod just broke.  :-(

  This is after Flashcom pulled out of this area, Harvard.NET closed their DSL
division, and Digital Broadband went under.  NorthPoint just filled for
bankruptcy.  Covad says they will run out of money in Q1 2002.  Verizon is in
court because they cannot actually fulfill the DSL orders they have been
taking.

  Things do not look good for DSL.

  At this point, we're looking at leased lines (frame relay, frac T, T1) for
ourselves and our customers that need high-speed Internet.  The rest pretty
much have to fall back to dedicated dialup.  (Blech!)  As for my own personal
home DSL, I'm think going to give my NTD a nice funeral service...
