I just saw an announcement from Red Hat about their latest beta. It
includes lot of new features, yadda yadda. Kind of interesting is that they
have moved to the 2.4 kernel. This particular item really jumped out at me,
though:

> Workstation installs are network-secure (services are off by default)

Hey! Better late than never. Finally, an OS vendor learns that maybe we
shouldn't ship new cars with the windows down, keys in the ignition, and the
engine running.

Anyone tried it yet? It's been out for a good two and a half hours. ;-)
