One word of caution, these free-service type businesses can often
disappear overnight or change their policies just when you get used to
depending on them. Might be a pain if one gets many users / customers
using the service then it changes or goes away.
I should know, for the past couple years I have rigged up a
work-voicemail to personal-email "gateway" using these sort of free
services. (I set my work-voicemail to "page" the free service phone
number + ext and that, in turn, sends me a message notification email
to my personal-email. A poor man's pager of sorts...).
Anyway, I first did this with telebot.com, after a while they
dramatically reduced what they provide. So then I switched to
ureach.com for the past year, but now they are switching to a $$/month
subscription plan.
Hmmmm, perhaps now I'll switch over my "gateway" to onebox.com,
thanks Niall!
