However, you are not likely to be doing that with a dynamic address which is
not in the DNS, which is the case with the OP.

Which is fine, Jerry. However, I was not writing that message for *you*, I
was writing it for the OP! :-)

This is most easily solved by telling your fully self-contained mail client
to poll the local host for mail, along with other ISP mailboxes.
