Tony Gabrielson recently installed on a 1700XL with few problems. The
1700XL has a builtin ethernet port and Don Becker was unable to get the
driver info from either Compaq or the chip vendor.
I have a 1900LX running SuSE 7.1 with a 2.2.18 kernel with no problems. I
have a module for the Lucednt winmodem chip.
