I think it would be a safe assumption that most Open Source people take
to AMD over Intel, mostly because of their price to performance ratio. I
came across this article today, and thought it would be an interesting
read for everyone. It would be great to print some of these benchmarks
and post them at places like Best Buy and CompUSA where most people
looking to buy a pre-built computer have a lot of FUD's towards AMD and
_insist_ they go with an Intel processor solution.
