Remember also to test those backups with an occasional restore!  (Remember - 
the purpose of backup is to be able to restore.  I know of one site that had 
some big problems when it turned out one tape in a backup set was defective, 
but obviously writable enough not to cause errors -  oops, no data.

Ah yes, the human factor.  If only we could get rid of those pesky things, it 
would make us IT folks' jobs a lot easier ;-)
