Um, some of us aren't debating that BIND has had insecurities in the past.  I 
do argue that it has a process to find holes.  My disagreements are with djb's 
philosophy and mistatements and attitude.  Yes, the code is well-written (I 
did download it).  I just don't like people telling me how _I_ should do 
something.  And people arguing that their licenses are "as good as" 
(paraphrased) Open Source because the user can go elsewhere and grab patches 
to apply (why should I have to apply them?) .  Or calling me a "hypocrite" 
because I prefer Open Source / DFSG compatible licenses (and yes, the author 
gets to choose the license, I'm not arguing with that, but the attitude that 
comes across in his writing).

And I did post pointers to BIND alternatives.

I think I'm dropping the topic now.  We've beaten it to death.
