NETWORK ENGINEERING MANAGER
We
are looking for an engineering manager to lead a team
of highly skilled
Linux experts working to advance the state of the art in networking
solutions.
Job requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years of experience
in managing operating system teams
* Proven ability to manage complex
engineering schedules and the
planning of product roadmaps
* BS in
CS/EE or equivalent experience and 3+ years of development
experience
in Linux and/or Unix
* Knowledge of networking interfaces and protocols
such as TCP/IP, ATM,
packet routing and forwarding, TDM, ethernet, USB,
Firewire, and so on
* Knowledge of embedded systems
* Knowledge of
the CompactPCI and PCI bus architectures
* Real-time software or
operating system programming using C
* Understanding of High
Availability concepts such as Hot Swap, System
Slot Failover, heartbeat
monitoring, application state replication and
so on
* Knowledge of
industry standard performance benchmarks and
benchmarking
techniques
* Familiarity with programming and debugging
in an embedded real-time
environment is highly desired
* Experience
with any or all of the following processors: PowerPC,
StrongARM,
IA32/x86, MIPS and SH3/4
architectures
