Well, I'm not certain about that. I think it could be used to
install Linux. Though now that I think about it, it may be dependant
upon pkg-manager. In theory, I would think if you had a distribution
basked on Sun's pkg-manager though, you might be able to pull it off.

Right, so we just need more people running Linux on desktops in large
